Working in the care home was enjoyable at first. I loved everyone there and I loved the job that I had, however, the shift patterns were too much for me and included a lot of night and weekend shifts, which I couldn’t do.

Runwood Homes had the best care team but the management were poor the Directors seem more concerned with money than with staff satisfaction and as a result of overworking many good carers left. Staff work hard under pressure with 3 staff to a floor at night with one being the team manager and over 12 residents and if there was a one-to-one or medication - more...
