Cutting edge science and good nursing care
Complex Discharge Support Nurse Upper Band 6 (Former Employee) –  London18 February 2019
The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a hospital working at the cutting edge of clinical science. Phase 1, first in human, trials are conducted at the hospital, directly leading to breakthroughs in new cancer treatments.
The nurse / patient ratios are high, meaning you'll usually have no more than four patients to look after per shift on the wards.
The culture is demanding and at times hypercritical without always offering the training and support the management claim they provide.

Radiographer (Former Employee) –  Sutton, Greater London6 March 2018
Good hospital to work in. Opportunity for career development. Problems more to do with how NHS is run and government targets rather than the hospital itself.
