I have worked for RM for 22 years, progressed from a vehicle technician to a maintenance manager based out of RMF head office in Chesterfield. Over the years due to restructure processes and numerous poor management culture l started suffering with Anxiety/ Depression and stress. I have been categorised and now being disabled, this has led to long term absence. Although RM claim to recognise and are a company that do not discriminate based on disability. Now because of my disability which in my opinion been caused by RM Fleet over the years, l have been pushed down the route of leaving the business due to ill health. After 22 years service l would of expected more and l am extremely hurt by Royal Mail.
The few modifications to my role , lack of training and reduction of working hours but not work load has lead me to leave RM and l personally believe that they need to review their disability policy.

If you keep harassing management and ask your union to step in, then eventually you might get your overtime paid.

Don't believe their "2 week " rule. They take their time doing everything.

Unlimited usually. They are always needing people to deliver lapsed frames and undelivered mail.

I applied on Indeed and got a interview for the week after which was good. They are extremely nice... my email hadn't come through properly and I didn't realise I needed more than just my passport and Drivers Licence. He let me go away and come back an hour later to quickly get it! The questions are exactly what everyone else has put. They ask you 7 long questions/scenarios from past experiences and write down your reply on to individual bits of paper. At the end they ask you about van checks, what hours you would be happy working etc. Then get you to read a number plate out.

Good luck to anyone that has applied! :) I hope I have helped like you lot helped me prepare.
