Usually go through a recruitment agency first and they sort you out with a date for an assessment day. This includes a group task which was based on talking in groups of 2-4 about which company’s you think provide the best customer service. After you have spoken in the group you present your ideas to the whole group and assessors/interviewers. After that you get taken off separately. Some go straight for an interview. Mine was 2 to 1. However one was just taking notes and the other was asking questions. After that you have a mock email task. You get given the scenario and have to reply to that email as if you were working for them. Takes about 5 mins if that. Then you go and do a role play telephone call with an assessor. It’s slightly uncomfortable if you don’t have experience with telephone calls but not hard. As long as you’re polite and do all the right checks you’ll be fine.
I would recommend researching the company and their history. Brushing up on common competency based questions will also help you.Answered 23 October 2019
