This is completely dependent on the position you hold.
Service Drivers tend to have more flexible start times, geared towards an earlier day. Typically, 06.00-15.00. 40 hours per week.
Technicians will also have more flexible working hours, dependent on their customers. Typically, 08.30-17.00. 40 hours per week.
Sales teams and office staff have more set hours and will typically be 08.30-17.00. 37.5 hours per week.
Bear in mind that branches across the UK can differ slightly in opening hours. There are many more positions within the company that will have different start and finish times.
Working hours within my role vary. I can work from 0800 till 1700 however on some days there is a requirement to work later but the flexibility is there.
The working hours are great as i can work from home and do the school run.
I try to keep my working day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, this is not always possible however good prior planning does normally result in these working hours.
40 hour basic hours for most field based roles. 37.5 hours is more typical for office roles but is role dependant. Basic hours are Monday - Friday dayshift - any additional hours (evenings and weekends) are paid at a premium rate.
Morn 7am to 3 pm
9am - 5.30pm
The hours are sociable as no weekend work is required and the hours are not too long the shift goes quite quickly
When they were with the LAS, I was working 00:00 to 04:00 or for overtime it would be 00:00 to 08:00
