Our typical process is to start with a telephone interview lasting 20-30 minutes, followed by a face-to-face competency interview and then a shadowing day for the role you have applied for. By this point, you should learn whether this role is right for you.
There will be some differences. For example, in a sales interview process, we will have a formal final stage as well as a shadowing day and also a psychometric test.

How long do they take to reply a person's job application? what if they take too long?Asked 12 December 2018
As a contingency for positions where we receive a large number of applications, we set a deadline of two weeks to respond to you. For the majority of applicants, this will be within a week of applying.
If you haven't received a response after 2 weeks, it would be best to make contact with the recruitment team, to let them know you haven't received a response and to tell them you're still interested in the position.

How does someone get hired at Rentokil Initial? What are the steps along the way?Asked 5 February 2019
The first step for an individual who is potentially interested in joining Rentokil Initial is for them to do some research - it is really important to have an understanding of the work culture, the environment, the company focus and what the job you've found will actually be doing. Once this is complete, we advertise on a number of job boards and also our own Rentokil Initial UK careers site (rentokil-initial.co.uk).
Our recruitment team will receive your application and assess how well you suit the position before deciding which candidates to shortlist for a telephone interview. This will delve into why you want the job, your work ethic, company fit and your experience so far.
Dependent on the position you are interviewing for, we largely run a two-stage face-to-face interview process with some form of shadowing or trial day so you can judge whether the position is right for you.
We tend to move as quickly as we can through the interview process, to ensure you are not left waiting too long on our decisions. If you are the best candidate for the position at the end of the process, we will offer you a date to start with us and welcome you into the Rentokil Initial family.Answered by Rentokil Initial15 July 2019
