I left a full time permanent role to find another, in order to maintain job security. I made this known to Reeson. Reeson found a job that was full time but temporary, working on a supply basis. They did not make this explicit to me when I interviewed and took the role.
Long tem supply was not what I was looking for. As a new teacher, Reeson preyed on my inexperience, for their gain.
I left the job, due to unsatisfaction from this new role. Now when I see new roles , Reeson will not put me forward for them, dispite the fact that they used me to fill a position that I didnt not want.
Teachers should have more leverage in the current climate of teh profession, however if agencies use us to make money, we cannot come out on top!!
They have attractive roles
Their gain takes first precedence.
