Used to be a very good company, know too much focus on profit and not patient care.Management very unsupportive and unaware of what is happening on wards .Lots of unnecessary paperwork.Blame culture very evident ,permanent staff face disciplinary process for things that bank and agency staff do regularly and they are not held accountable.Traing not specif for job role
i enjoyed working for the priory, everyday was different but now I'm ready for a change. My daily duties consist of counting money, checking in patients, carrying out medical observations, taking blood pressure, I was infection control leader.

I am currently employed at the Priory Southampton, I am saddened by particular reviews that contain inaccuracies, for starters no staff ever work 23.5 hour shifts and yes all staff get breaks! This is a great place to work, a family vibe with great employee benefits. Some of our staff have been here over 30 years which speaks for itself. Each day is different and a typical shift for a clinical member of staff is 12.5 hours, 3 shifts each week, which means you have the other 4 days off which I believe is a good work life balance. There is good training and the staff really support each other. I love it here and would recommend this place to anyone
