After you're hired, but before you start work you will need to take part in an induction in groups (Mine was shortened to four hours) that includes the signing of your contract, ordering your uniform and customer service training. I also had a tour around the store because my induction was from 5 until 9 at night, so after working hours whilst the store was quiet.

Wear smart clothing - not creased. Make sure you do some research on Primark's history because they like that and it shows you're interested in working there. Be confident. It's okay to be nervous, but stay relaxed and chatty to the person interviewing you and you will be fine.

You have to apply online via a job advert. You then fill out your details and answer a series of customer service questions to see if you have the right idea with how to deal with people and unexpected situations. You may then be invited for an interview, and if you are successful you will be given a date for your first shift and introduction to the company.
