Waitress (Former Employee) – Newbury, Berkshire – 28 June 2018
As my first job I was eager to do everything they asked of me and this often lead to overtime work with no break and disorganised management or often understaffed shifts. It was a welcoming and fun environment to work in as my first job however the pay was very little, despite the abundance of tips.
Assistant Store Manager (Current Employee) – Epsom – 24 June 2018
Pizza Hut is like an amazing place to work for part time workers, who want to have an amazing work relationship and friendships with the people you work with. But unless the management is top noch your not going to have an amazing experience as a full time worker. The job is stressful as a manager if your franchisee are bad like the ones at Epsom... SME the company do not pay for new equipment when broke and force basically solve labour on their employees and still pay them min wage and their managers about 15p more an hour. A driver at Pizza Hut who works full time could earn more money than the store manager. At this certain franchisees stores... I’m not sure about other employers. If your looking for some easy min wage money part time this place is great and you can get great pizza while your at it.
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) – London Borough of Hackney, Greater London – 18 June 2018
Great place to work and learn how to make different products. Gives great experience on customer service and how to make sales for the business. There are also many benefits when working for the business.
Waiter (Former Employee) – Brighton, East Sussex – 15 June 2018
Pretty awful customers to be honest. A great starter job but nothing long term. Bare minimum wage and understaffed mostly. Hours dependant on how good you are at the job and often called in out of hours and sent home within rota hours.
Team Member (Former Employee) – Norbury – 13 June 2018
The closeness from the shop to my house was short, so that was nice. However, the pay was terrible. Sometimes i would be sent home because they would be overbooked. Extremely stressful and short hours. Management is rude, and i experienced racism from other workers.
great place to work, great people, simple job, work as driver and do instore tasks as well, pays minimum wage and you get a bit extra for each delivery you do. there isnt much in terms of security as they dont offer a contract. advancement is possible as they are opening more stores consistently.
Front of House Supervisor (Former Employee) – London, Greater London – 24 May 2018
Usually depends on the store you’ve been worked at. Bad management, the rgm only cares about his hours, he doesn’t do anything else. Sick of “kissing a***s” management. The pay isn’t that good but let’s say that isn’t bad either. Anyone could be a manager at Pizza Hut which is intrigues me a lot.
Waitress (Former Employee) – Leicester Square, Greater London – 11 May 2018
Very busy restaurant. Lots of running on shift, some runners (customers) :/ After I was working at some with a security guard by the door. Short hours, minimal wage but good tips (depends on location of the restaurant and the customers visiting the restaurant). First you have to start as a host (minimum money) Good people around, lots of fun, free food provided. I learnt a lot about good customers service. Management all right
Server Assistant (Current Employee) – Urmston, Greater Manchester – 11 May 2018
The employees and managers are fun to work with. There is always something to be cleaned or do so slow hours aren't boring. I learned a lot about customer service and interacting with people. Hardest part would be the long hours of constantly being on your feet but with a good pair of shoes its bearable.
Working at Pizza Hut (Current Employee) – Epsom – 4 May 2018
The place where i work is just a franchise, although the staff are very friendly and you also get Food benefits. You earn there £5.90 from the age of 18+ If you are younger you would probably get £4.80 per hour and if you are older than 25 then you get £7.80 per hour. That's the maximum salary rate they have for normal part time workers. However they still have staff like the delivery who works more than 6 years, who earns more than £9. These are promotions, which you can achieve with us. And during multiple checks on you the way you work and how fast and confidential you are, you will probably get promoted.
