Awful General Knowledge Test To Get To Interview
QA Assistant (Former Employee) – Bristol, Bristol – 30 August 2018
I went for a position as a QA Assistant at the production site.
I passed the phone interview and the next step was to take an internet based General Knowledge test.
I did revision on Food safety, GMP etc. and then took the test.
The test was 76 questions under a time limit and not a single question was about food, GMP or Quality Auditing.
If you are going to take the test you had better brush up on stuff you did at school like fractions, trigonometry and capitals of the countries of the World.
I have been a food Quality Auditor for many years, in big food production companies, but I didn't pass the General Knowledge test which meant I didn't get through to the actual interview.
It seems Pieminister want to employ people that can go on Krypton Factor and not people who would be good at the advertised job.
Also £18k to do shift work is really underpaid for a QA job. It should be £21 to 24k.
You have to pass a daft test to get the job.
