Started off ok, but there was no advancement even when pushed. It's a company big on promoting people you know, with people with little to no experience being made managers simply due to being related or friends with the directors, definitely not an ethical company.
Pros
None that I can think off
Cons
Everything above, got myself out of there, doing a more relaxed role with a £20k payrise, shows how little they value employees

I was going through a rough personal time during the transition, the support I received was okay but could have been a lot better. I left after 4 years of running a shift as I was exhausted.

Typical day cosists of, any deck work and loading and unloading supply vessel. Duties as helicopter landing officer.
Management didn’t interfere with the day to day running as long as there were no issues. Always learned something new, like a safer way to work.

The most enjoyable part of the job was being with people who became friends.

Dynamic and fast moving but lots of circles of cultures. Can be quite challenging to get to the decision maker.
Centred at Sharjah with a UK branch at Worthing that is really not the HQ

A great company to work for - hoping to return to them soon.

Petrofac give incredible opportunities to progress your career with them if that's the direction you want to go. HR / Management staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Not a company I would work for again ,bad atmosphere between management and workforce, management tended to blame workforce for there own shortcomings, speaking as a pipe fitter of 40 years experience in the industry

As an international student, you want to find the top undergraduate program or the best graduate program that fits your needs. As you search for U.S. schools, you should know there are many important differences between "undergraduate" and "graduate" programs.

Management is non existing, real ability is ignored because you have to be in the 'lodge' to progress.
The structure is based on old fashioned practises and good workers are ignored in favour of 'the funny hand shake group'.

Atrocious agency to work for. Have no intention of ever paying you on time, look for small errors in timesheets so they dont have to pay you in the month.

Have you on a 3/3 rotation which is tough on family life.
Pros
Absolutely none
Cons
To many to mention

Never worked in the Petrofac office as my role was working offshore as a Mechanical technician when and where required. My role was assigned to the Mechanical department reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor. My duties were covering all breakdowns and planned maintenance schedules and assist with the running of various utility systems. We worked as a multi-skilled shift team, assisting other departments when required.
