too much admin/paperwork - many different forms to complete with same info to many departments - should be electronic/web form style to make time for actually managing the site and doing what paid for - to build houses.

site manager (Former Employee) –  newcastle-upon-tyne4 June 2012
management of labour, plant and materials and keeping good diary, inspection sheets and records. Learning NHBC requirements to achieve zero defects, having a good work force is essential. Hardest part of job has to be trying to rectify defects left uncompleted by previous management, however once rectified and defects minimized good relationships can be built at all levels
Pros
enjoyable challenges
Cons
rectifying others mistakes
