Strict on uniform saying we gotta all wear it and it has to be exactly as they say but NO money given to us for it. Buy a weeks worth of full uniform for £10??!!! Tesco or primark from a charity shop is more than that. Costs a lot.

I am proud to say that I am part of the Pavers family and work environment is extremely welcoming and friendly. This company is certainly not ‘money hungry’ and ‘greedy’, they are a company with competition who have targets to meet as does anybody else in the retail sector.

Benefits?? Bonus scheme??!! The ever greedy bosses have lined their own pockets this year so the incredibly hard working staff earning their salaries won’t be receiving a penny next year! I see the job descriptions now state ‘discretionary bonus’ which in pavers world means ‘absolutely no bonus’. Do they ever think they’ll motivate their staff and have a company that staff feel proud and valued and want to achieve the unrealistic shoe care targets and crazy high standards treating them like this??

Increase the Holiday entitlement.

Tell me about a time you received/provided great customer service etc

The constant relentless personal battering you get if you don’t sell sell sell that shoe care , it’s all they care about. I and others go into work feeling sick about it and feel pressurised to buy things yourself to hit your target. They should worry about the staffs mental health and well-being not just shoe care
