A typical day in this company was great, starting around 8, putting a display out in our front counter e.g. mats, jackets etc. checking e-mails and creating any orders for other franchises, banking procedures to be done for 11am, verifying invoices and serving customers. Near the end of our shift we would have to get all trade customers, basically parts being delivered through the night for our van drivers. I learned so much working here, general motor trade, how to look up parts for customers in need, how to gain confidence in serving customers and meeting deadlines. Management was something I had a problem with which is one of the main reasons I left, I was being bullied by my supervisor but the rest of senior members of staff, I got on really well with. My co-workers were a big part of my job, communication was a must !! The hardest part of my job was basically my supervisor, she really had a problem with me. The most enjoyable part of my job was doing a job I loved and coming home and being proud of the job I had done that day.
Colleagues, Generally being able to help others
Not getting along with senior members of staff
