Resource Centre Manager (Current Employee) –  Worthing, England9 April 2015
A typical day at work involves me helping students with their book enquiries and issuing, renewing, returning books. I also do all the marketing for the school from updating the school website and social media channels to designing print adverts and writing advertorials. My job requires me to take photos of students events and activities at the Junior and Senior School. I manage a school library budget to order new books and resources for the students to use. I manage my own diary. I have enjoyed working with students and helping them with their enquiries and also re-designing the school website. The hardest part of the job is helping out with First Aid. I work well in a team and work closely with the other administration staff as well as with the teachers.
Pros
Local, friendly colleagues, varied workload, working with children
Cons
Salary, term-time only
