Event Steward (Current Employee) – Stratford, Greater London – 25 January 2018
I have enjoyed my time working for OCS with nothing bad to say about the job. Staff are very friendly, they work around your time which helps with my education. I also have recommended a couple of friends for this job and would recommended any one who is in full-time education or earn a bit of money on the side if you are working full-time.
Flexible, friendly, social, well paid
Organisation with over booking staff can sometimes be a problem.
SAFETY STEWARD (Former Employee) – LONDON OLYMPICS STADIUM – 19 January 2016
It was a great experience to work as a safety steward. Must say it was fun working in places such as O2 arena and Olympics stadium. Engaging and communicating with large audiences will make the day go pass quickly. The team support was outstanding and never had any issues whilst at work. The hardest part of the job was getting acclimatise with cold weather and the learning part was so-called 'perseverance'.
Steward/Security (Current Employee) – Greenwich, ENG – 7 January 2015
the job is good if you are 18 and looking for part time job but that is the only good thing about it you can hardly get hold of the manger and it is terribly run putting interest for shifts is not done good and they hardly stay in contact with you asking if you would like more shifts or not, sometimes take you off of shift without notice and when you are on shift you are not treated well seem to employ anyone but yet complain about them if they are not the right fit PLEASE DO NOT APPLY
SIA Steward (Casual Worker) (Current Employee) – london – 3 September 2013
I rate OCS as an organisation that give you the opportunity to be the best you can be in the line of doing your job. They have a bottom up approach to management which makes it easier for you to do you r job with confidence and with the knowledge that you will be support as you get on. AT OCS you are always monitored by your supervisor and he/she makes sure you are ok and get your breaks in time because the shifts are quite long. Colleagues are also very professional and supportive and everybody pulls their weight.. The hardest part of the job is the standing; you feet is hurting after 11 hours standing. Being and event oriented work, you get to meet a lot of -people from different background and people and mostly generally very nice.
