  • First of all I wouldn't ask someone to do that I wouldn't do myself.
Secondly I wouldn't allow staff, manager or otherwise to have their nails done and then come in to help the next day when staff are at the bear minimum and not muck in, only to dictate to other staff what the other staff should be doing.

I wouldn't allow the store manager to make false accusations of a member of the cleaning team when he knows full well that the cleaner is a hardworking member of staff and does everything they are asked.

And I wouldn't employ people who ignore or do not know the concept of the call outs on the store tannoy for in store cleaners.

I was victimised bullied and pushed put of my role as was my previous I.s.c.m.

  • Comunication to key employees . i worked as a manager through a complete refit. this was a new problem of problem.solving every day with not even a phone call to see how you are doing . when i did recieve a phone call it was to fire me over the phone about cleaning pads put on the wrong way . so i went down at 1 in the morning to see the problem.myself the pads were that worn that you had a job to see the black print on them they were on the right way . i rose to every challenge until then and lead by example its a shame because if there was better comunication sfyle and less of the autocratic leadership style with a bit of demecratic aprroach i believe it would go far . i was told when i left college in australia remember its the men beneath you that makes the team as well as you without them.your nothing

  • A total review of the cleaning. I worked in the same store for 7 years for a different company until Febuary 2019 when NIC took over the cleaning contract. while with the other company I never failed an audit and had no problems what so ever. I recently went into the store as I was in the area and I could of died with the state of the toilets and the store in general

I would change the way the way the cleaning is carried out and what some of the cleaners get up to when there is no instore cleaning manager as they seem to think they can clean the way they do instead of the way its supposed to be cleaned. I left due to stress as in no staff and no real support from management but I believe they are under pressure themselves and they do try but they need a different approach

  • Change the hours and higher pay
