Poor!
HCSW (Former Employee) –  Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire21 January 2020
I wouldn’t bother for your own sanity. They treat you poorly, don’t take safeguarding concerns properly. They don’t care for staff. Other co workers are supportive and caring but managment are disgusting.

It’s an excellent job if you are dedicated to caring helping but you have to work quite a lot of hours and it’s very fast paced there’s no stopping at all dealing with relatives who are very argumentative and always right and you have to have a good heart and soft hands to hold

Couldn’t fault this company at all. From start to finish they were brilliant and I would recommend anyone to work for them. The rate of pay is very good and to be able to pick and choose your hours of work was amazing

Dont Work For a GP Surgery
Receptionist/Administrator (Former Employee) –  London8 January 2020
Lots of bitter women and arselickers are the employed in these places
If you are decent and hardworking and beleive in getting the promotions because of merit, than go else where such as Private Employers or Genuine NHS not franchaises like Doctors Surgeries

But if you are first class areslickers than these places for you.
If a managers arselickers takes dislike to you for no reason than expect to get your P45 very soon

HIGHER ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Former Employee) –  England7 January 2020
Working in the NHS was by far the most enjoyable work experience I`ve had so far. The reason I previously left my post was due to relocation for ongoing family health issues and would love to have another attempt at working in the industry at my new location.

Nhs 111
Health Advisor NWAS 111 (Former Employee) –  Bolton, Greater Manchester6 January 2020
Your colleagues are fantastic always there to help. If you get a good manager will make you enjoy your job a lot more. Only thing that lets the place down is bad management with bad attitudes and no compassion. But helping patients and working next to the health advisors, nurses/ paramedics is fantastic, makes you open your eyes!

Stressful environment
Ward Clerk (Former Employee) –  Southend5 January 2020
Worked as a ward clerk, the job description in the interview was not the reality. I was told I’d be working days only, but soon realised that was not the case. The admin staff were lovely but the senior medical staff not so much, found a few of them rude and unhelpful towards me instead of supporting a new member of staff. The hours were long with short breaks too. It was a shame as I quite liked the job, just not the working environment

Health care Assistant
Health Care assistant (Former Employee) –  Poole5 January 2020
My typical day at work was fast paced.Taking patients observations, reporting to the nurse in charge, providing personal care to patients when patients were unable to do their own. Assisting with last offices, Making beds.ensuring the bed space was clean and tidy. I have learned that you cannot take your health for granted as I have seen people with terrible conditions.Management were fair but if you were ill you still had to go to work.
There was a variety of cultures working there and a no racist tolerance approach.
The hardest part of the job was being on your feet for 12 hours.
The most enjoyable part was meeting lots of people.
Pros
meeting people
Cons
on your feet for long periods of time
