What people say about working at Newcastle upon Tyne Council

  • Good employer

Good employer, work/life balance can be good especially if you have been there a long time - allows home-working dependent on the job role. Salary good.
    Local Government Officer (Current Employee)
Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear - 24 August 2017
  • Steady but unreliable

I found working for Newcastle city council very calm and steady at first. Though as the years went on, there was a lot of pressure on your job because of all the redundancies and job cuts to cost cut for the council.
    Leisure Attendant/Lifeguard (Former Employee)
    Newcastle upon Tyne - 7 December 2016
