How did you feel about telling people you worked at Nationwide Crash Repair Centres Ltd?
I feel very proud to tell people that I work at Nationwide. There are lots of new and exciting initiatives in place to continually improve our processes to ensure a fantastic customer and colleague experience across all of our branches. We are also working on lots of training and development workshops to ensure new starters are inducted into the company properly as well as offering training and development for our existing colleagues. We have developed lots of development workshops to ensure our managers receive all the training and coaching they need to excel in their role and recognise their people.
Nationwide are working very hard to improve culture, working environments and reward and recognition. We want every colleague to feel this is a great place to work.
What advice would you give the CEO of Nationwide Crash Repair Centres Ltd about how to improve it?
Nationwide recognise that People are our greatest asset, we know our business can only succeed with great people in place. Nationwide are doing some great work to ensure it is a great place to work: training, development, flexible hours, rewards and benefits platform as well as leadership development. Nationwide regularly conduct exit interviews with our leavers as well as look at company reviews and these form part of our strategy for changing culture and improving what we offer and how we manage our colleagues. We know there is still a lot of work and it is work in progress so your comments are great feedback for us.

Working hours vary depending on your role, where you are based and your contract type. Nationwide do offer part-time hours as well as flexible working where is is possible to do so. We recognise that work/life balance and well-being are important and we promote this on a regular basis. We are always interested in the health and well being of our colleagues, which is why we offer stress management support through our Employee Assistance Program.
Nationwide have an excellent applicant tracking system in pace which means every applicant is responded to whether or not they are successful. Every application is received by the Talent Team who are a team of recruitment specialists. The talent team review all CV's and where appropriate send them to the hiring manager for a further review. If the hiring manager feels your skill set matches the role you will be invited to an interview and if successful you will be offered the role. It's generally a very quick and friendly process.
Rate of pay very much depends on the role and location you work in. Nationwide are very competitive and do offer bonus structures and incentive programs, as well as a fantastic rewards and benefits platform.
