Waitress (Former Employee) – Milton Keynes – 18 October 2018
A typical day at work was good. I had to come in and go to the till to serve the customers. I had also helped with the food and waited for any help. I had learned to work with large groups and I had gained confidence. The hardest part of the job was with the cleaning because we had to thoroughly clean the place. The most enjoyable part of the job was the energy and the good pay that they provided. They had also given us bonuses for our good work.
Nandoca (Former Employee) – Milton Keynes – 3 May 2018
Can get very stressful but is expected to be in this kind of environment, learned a fair amount regarding food safety and general restaurant hygiene as hadn't worked in a restaurant before. people are polite and work as a team
During my work experience to Nandos i felt like it was productive and helped me develop my skills through out the experience. The Nandos workers were also very friendly and helped me develop my social skills.
1st Assistant Manager (Current Employee) – Milton Keynes, UK – 12 May 2017
Nando's has provided me with a climate to not only evolve my career but improve me as a person. The company has a motto that it is the people that make the chicken, and there is a large emphasis on looking after their employees. As the company has grown larger they have changed how they have done this but not the key message behind it
As an employee at Nandos I was able to take my training and development into my own hands therefore allowing me to progress within my job role. I learned good communication and management skills that I can take to my new job roles. Working in this fast paced environment I was able to learn how to utilise my time well and be more effective in my time management.
