It requires you to be tough and somewhat hard-faced. Prepare for confrontation as you ask for residents to be helped. Activities Coordinators are very much looked down upon by carers.

I worked for Heather Grange at Burnley and the only advice I could give is do random drug test on employers well I worked there I know of 2 employers what was on drugs and dealing with vanrable people. Even depty Manger needs training swearing fighting on corridors on dementia department. Need to get it sorted poor residents

Everyone is on a 2 week rolling Rota, nobody works more than 2 and a half or 3 days in a row, minimum of 2 days off inbetween.
I presume a flexible hour contract can be offered.

I work full time and have never had to ask for flexible hours so I am not sure.
