Key Worker (Former Employee) –  Lee house, manchester23 August 2019
This company just care about money they dont care about customers just treated like a number. Senior management are clueless, showing no understanding how high targets can cause stress to employees. Take staff for granted. They keep winning contracts by bidding low which in turn creates a poor service. High staff turnover! Goalposts moved all the time.

Terrible Recruitment Practices
not applicable (Former Employee) –  Manchester, Greater Manchester18 July 2019
Interviewing for the growth Company was a frustrating experience due them not providing any feedback whatsoever. Ironically one of the areas discussed was how bad candidate experiences were made transparent via sites like Indeed.

The Growth Company and its sister brands need to seriously re-think it's approach to interviews and candidate feedback as our time is as important as yours and feedback good, bad or indifferent is vital to the process.

Toxic environment
senior admin/supervisor (Former Employee) –  Lee House, Manchester City Centre9 March 2018
Careers advisers are given extremely high targets to achieve. These people want to help people, but the company is more bothered about making sure the customer put his signature in the right boxes.

It seems to me the company are just making it harder for themselves to get funding in order to keep it a free service for customers. But with the contract expiring soon, you can pretty much guess what is going to happen.

As for the company itself, there is a blame culture and some members of the management (not all, a few managers were really lovely) just created this toxic environment. And I believe this is all to do with the high targets.

And it is far too corporate for my liking.
Pros
Great careers advisers
Cons
toxic management

Service Manager (Former Employee) –  Lee House, Manchester7 January 2018
The sole purpose of this company is to make money at the expense of their staff and the most vulnerable members of society. I was asked to break the law, bully staff and work in a generally unfair and corrupt manner as a Service Manager here. Ask yourself why they keep rebranding and now call themselves the growth company. If you don't work early until late seven days a week as a manager or a member of your team expect to on the receiving end of serious harassment and freezing out. Payroll is incompetent, possibly by design, so you rarely get paid your due. It's amazing that this company is being allowed to become a monopoly.
Pros
