In my case, I was first invited to a coffee interview - nice and relaxed, no stress feelings and a little informal. We discussed the usual, experience, attitudes towards the industry, my aspirations and mainly I was told about the Magnet team and just fell in love - I know from this first encounter that I really wanted this job. The second, more formal interview included another Regional Manager to get a feeling of who they was employing. We went through a few more problem solving questions so that they could Gage my experience and how I would tackle problems. I also had a small task where I was handed a floor plan of a planned kitchen and I was tasked to identify any faults or errors I would suggest need altering for the kitchen to work efficiently. Both managers left the room whilst I completed this task which again was friendly and comfortable. The plan wasn't difficult but it is done in such a way where you can showcase your experience and skills in just the right amount. Once completed they was very happy with the result and complimentary which was nice. I was advised I had the job there and then and that I would receive my contract of employment the following week. I could not wait to hand my notice in and run to the Magnet team with open arms!
