About us
M&D Care Ltd is an independent sector organisation with strong values around the development of the people we support and the staff we employ. We work within the principle of family values of mutual respect, honesty and vision.

We are a developing company with a proven record of caring for people and our staff.

Our service is developing with
 – more... new residential care homes being developed this year and our expanding domiciliary care agency.

We are registered and regulated by the CIW (Care inspectorate Wales) under the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care Act (Wales) 2016. We train our workforce to successfully support individuals aged 18+ who have a diagnosis Mental Health, Learning Disability, Autism, Personality Disorder and sometimes physical care both in our care homes and in our community services.

We are proud of our workforce as we employ diverse set of people from who have many years of experience to completely new into the care sector. We also have a proven track record of supporting our staff to progress within our company from Support Workers to Registered Managers and Heads of Services.

Our training of our staff is based on the needs of the people we care for and we pride ourselves in ensuring the staff are trained with the rights skills for the right people at the right time. We recognise that our staff would be challenged in developing their knowledge, and with this in mind we provide and pay for our staff to develop their skills.

Our training is facilitated by the leading professionals who work in the sector.

We have an annual Leadership Programme which functions and focusses on the development of New Leaders, Deputy managers & Registered Managers in the organisation who show ability and capability in their practice.

We want each and everyone of our staff at M&D to achieve the best positive outcomes in line with the Social Services wellbeing act (Wales) 2014.

M&D Aims to achieve this by:

• Bringing service users and staff together regularly in company led activities for social mixing, providing opportunities for all in the service to build relationships with people from different backgrounds.

• Social inclusion – Enabling our clients to engage with their communities and build relationships with local people in local facilities.

• Outcome focussed approaches and measurable reporting of progress.

• A shared Ethos and Belief in our staff teams that we can make a difference to the individuals we support.

• A positive and Can do culture throughout the organisation.

We want our staff to be happy working within our homes and in our community based services and therefore we make this pledge to our staff:

• To reasonably work flexibly with our staff who have personal challenges such as child care and family commitments.
