The culture has vastly changed. I'd advise (studying or not) if you have been with the company for more than 2 years to think about what you really want from the company it is easy to get comfortable and 98% of the time you meet and work with incredible people but don't let that stifle the other dimensions to your professional self. Development is much harder to see happen now and progression is a much longer process than it was in the past, this and your experience is so dependent on where you are.
It's a great job with loving people and good fun. Lots of hard work, you are on your feet all day and you give a lot of your emotional energy to your role aswell. Don't let the fun get in the way of making sure you get training to work beyond the role you start in.

The work day would consist of moderate flows of customers with floods between 12-3 most days. You learn a lot about ethics and ingredients as well as their benefits. Management can be amazing if they have a confident team, if not it can fall apart. Hardest part of the job was christmas times when there would be no space anywhere to move. The best part was the time you were allowed to spend freely with customers.

Working at Lush was a privilege as it offered both a challenging yet fun work place. Enthusiasm and a sense of humor was definitely necessary when dealing with customers. At times it could be challenge finding the right products for customers as well as giving them a brilliant experience of Lush. All the staff including management were warm and friendly. The most enjoyable part of the job was hosting the birthday parties in store and giving the children a fantastic memory.

I would go in and help other members of staff organise the shop floor before opening times, after the shop had been opened for the day I would either be on the tills or helping out on the shop floor with, answering customers enquires and restocking products. After a busy day me and other employees would clean up the shop floor (general house cleaning)
