Health Care (Former Employee) –  Liverpool, Merseyside5 February 2018
Trust has a bullying culture at all levels of management. Managers employ blame & scape goat culture when things go wrong. Many staff left here totally destroyed emotionally. Watch out please

Very friendly place to work with driven and committed staff. Organisation turning itself around after a difficult period in it's history. Standards of care are excellent.
Pros
Friendly and helpful staff
Cons
A lot of change ongoing so culturally the organisation is learning how to deal with change

Bullying.
Frontline (Current Employee) –  Liverpool, Merseyside28 November 2016
As a ground worker you are almost guaranteed to be constantly undermined and treated poorly. Management is a joke. However, they are regularly off sick with "stress" which is what they cause their workers.

Avoid at all costs. The report on the news about the bullying culture is true. No support and lying managers are just the tip of the iceberg. If I could leave, I would.
Pros
Getting a wage slip once a month and the clients/patients are fantastic
Cons
Everything you can think of

A good place to work, hindered by management
Locum Practice Nurse (Former Employee) –  Windmill Hill Medical Centre25 January 2016
Working in a small GP practice, with a close team made working at LCH a pleasure. There were opportunities to improve the service that we gave to patients, and we worked to become a high achieving practice.

However, this progress was neither supported nor encouraged by the higher management. Indeed, it was actively discouraged and thwarted at every turn. Decisions were taken without any evidence to back them and were contradictory to the point of bullying. Deadlines were imposed from above without rhyme or reason, and steps taken to improve or monitor clinical practice were deemed "inappropriate."
Practice staff (including doctors) came and went to different practices as other services needs dictated, and although long term locums were employed as far as possible, lack of continuity of care was an issue for some patients. Lack of administrative support increased workload, and led to working beyond paid hours.
Pros
A lovely practice with real progress achieved for patients
Cons
Poor management culture

Patient focused care and support
Manual Handling Assessment and Training Assistant (Current Employee) –  Liverpool18 March 2015
There is no "typical" day. Whether it is assessing service users and advising on suitable and safe ways and equipment to aid day to day moving and transfers or providing staff training in safe Manual Handling and posture care, our small, tight knit team aims to keep the patient experience as its main priority and focus. The constant changing nature of the modern day NHS can be hard, and it can be easy to lose focus on what is important - quality patient care - however, as a team we are vigilant to this and support each other to maintain a high level of achievement. Like many public services, staff can go unnoticed, si it is always a small celebration when a very complex case is resolved with all involved parties happy and complimenting the service.
