If you are looking to work with any of our clients, the required qualifications will depend on what kind of job you are applying for. At Little Ones, we offer positions as Au pair, Nannies, Nanny-Housekeepers and Housekeepers.

Any of our Au Pairs, Nannies and Nanny-Housekeepers will need to have as minimum criteria:

-2 Work Reference

Any of our Housekeepers should have:

Most of our clients expect our Nannies to have childcare qualifications; this will show them that you are serious about your career in childcare. These qualifications can range from childcare courses to universities titles.

For After-school and Part-time positions, candidates that have studied or are currently studying at university or college are perfect, since this shows families that you will be able to help their children with homework, protect their children and deal with daily problems.

If you are looking to go to another country to learn a new language and have new experiences, working as an Au Pair is perfect for you.

If you have experience with children for more than 3 years, a Nanny position will suit you.

As with all types of jobs, experience is one of the most important things that you will need to show to your consultant and families that will interview you.

At Little Ones we support both men and women in the childcare industry.

Women are more know as Nannies, and Men are more know as a Mannies. We support a breaking down of gender stereotypes in the workplace. Anyone with childcare experience, good references and DBS check is welcome to have an interview with one of our consultants as the first stage in getting a job through Little Ones.

It doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, we'll help you to find a job.

At Little Ones, we help anyone with the right to work in the UK to get a job through us. You will need to have childcare experience, work references, DBS check.
