Can vary. You may get a request to leave within days. They have that little respect for staff. As stated above, be careful as you may owe them money

Its hard work, you will be easily meeting your 10000 steps a day, Also some very heavy lifting involved.
Working at Lidl as a store assistant is very physical. Even being on tills all day can be mentally exhausting (especially with some of the customers). Forget the 'we are lidl' thing, its never referred to once you start
