There is no rota for the shop assistants. The shop assistants are the most servile in the Lidl hierarchy. Lidl's shop assistants are [unofficially] on-call 24/7. An absence request made to your Store Manager will evoke a response similar to Oliver Twist asking for more.

The only thing that matters in Lidl is this: Are you willing to sacrifice personal life, leisure time, family time and educational aspirations, to work for Lidl?

You must be out of your tiny mind. Once you accept the position, you belong to Lidl. You will work any hour and day that your Store Manager sees fit, and you'll work four hours unpaid overtime on top of each shift. If your Store Manager calls you at 04:55 and demands you come in for 05:00, well, you'd better get your undercracks on and get sprinting out that door, or you'll face disciplinary!

You will work when your Store Manager tells you to. If your store manager calls you in for three 72 hour shifts, you'd better stock up on Red Bull, cos you ain't leaving til at least four unpaid hours after that shift.
