There is hardly any training for staff. Management bullies staff working under them, instead of taking ownership for the lack of guidance and training.
As a younger woman I felt I was bullied by other women, who would constantly abuse me about my dress code, even though I wore office dresses which were compliant to code. I felt depressed and have since been medicated on anti-depressants and anxiety medication. My depression impacted on the quality of my work, and took a toll on my productivity. Men treated me like meat, and would constantly degrade me "for a joke"- by calling me "slag" and other derogatory names. I felt so humiliated and debased, to such a degree that I find it difficult to talk to people now and step outside of the house. Senior members of staff emotionally abused me by telling me I wasn't "cut out for finance" or telling me "I wasn't very good" within two months of me having started work. I felt ashamed every day, and was manipulated to feel as though it was all my fault.
The culture is very poor. The only people who are promoted are those who are "liked" by senior management, irrespective of whether they are qualified to do their role.
This is a disgusting place to work, I would not recommend working here unless you are truly desperate for a job, in which case I strongly recommend that you mind your own business and don't get involved with anyone, because no one here is your friend.
