A stressful workplace as pressure to meet sales targets.
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) –  Ambleside21 September 2016
This was not a workplace where I felt valued. It was driven by materialism and pressure on customers to buy products that I didn't value.
Cons
Long days standing with little support from management for effort.

Supervisor/ Sales Assistant (Current Employee) –  York18 March 2013
Typical day would be to open up the shop, cashing up from the day before and also banking for the week. Serving customers and using the till. If I am in charge, make a rota for everybody with jobs for the day to achieve, also to spur on staff to achieve the daily target.
Pros
nice people
Cons
most weekends

Typical day's work: is to provide one to one high sales, have a clear understanding of what you are selling to client and making time for each individual of understanding of care of product, fit, style, personal service this sort of thing.
what i learned :How leather is treated and how to take care of it properly, where it all comes from now.
Management: was fair and will help you with training along the way, but there is a lot to learn in short time.
My co- workers: Small Team but close network here.
Hardest Part of Job: Heavy Lifting, You need to be fit and healthy.
Due to Deliveries and Stockroom upstairs.
Most enjoyable part of Job: Selling to all sorts of people around the world. Commission Bonuses Personal and Company and Staff Discount.
Pros
breaks. commission bonuses, discount.
Cons
paid weekly, heavy lifting from deliveries to upstairs stockroom.
