We have a new focus this year on Equality and Diversity which includes bullying. I have not seen bullying myself but I would imagine it exists in all organisations of this size, to a degree. Bullying is not tolerated in any form and we have robust policies in place to deal with any instances. The most stressful thing about working at Kloeckner is how busy I am, which is of course also a great thing as it shows you are valued.

Sick leave rises with length of service and discretionary for some roles with high rates of sickness. In either case SSP applies and there are many cases where long term sickness has been supported by the company.

It's a fast pace environment, a challenging and competitive industry (at the moment) with the added uncertainty of Brexit. The company is implementing new business models and improvement plans as well as being the industry leaders in digitalization. There is a lot going on but it is enjoyable! Why would anyone want to go to work somewhere that is plodding and steady. If you want a dynamic and fast paced environment and you can make a difference, call Kloeckner!

It's an incestuous industry, people move between companies and roles. 2019 was a great year for our business financially and a record year for staff retention.... in a challenging industry! The changes made by the new leadership are better than promising. It is a great place to work with a great plan for the future and plenty of investment in new equipment is planned.
