They asked if i had any experience in this team member job role which i did not.
They also asked why i would like to be a part of KFC restaurants.
I work part time at KFC working weekends mainly due to my uni course. I have asked for a day off during the weekend period and have been told by my manager that I would have to have the whole weekend off which will count as a weeks annual leave - is this correct?
No. Your manager is being quite harsh.
It might depend on the store, but for the one I'm at you get paid extra for every bank holiday (including Boxing Day). One thing I realised is that they give different amounts for different bank holidays.
I got £5 extra and hour for Boxing day but only £3 extra an hour for New Year's day
It was really easy recruitment because most of the fast food stores like KFC do not have staffs working for years. They put people into constant stress. So, most of them leave KFC after few months or year. That is the reason they have jobs available all the time.
