We’re sympathetic to genuine cases of illness or other problems which might make absence unavoidable. In-line with our sickness and absence policy & company handbook, we operate a discretionary sickness pay policy, at the discretion of your General Manager or Divisional Director. If you required four or more days off in a row, you would be entitled to statutory sick pay, provided that you’re eligible and have applied the correct processes.
If you required time off, you could expect a return to work meeting and support from your management team on your return.

Your not allowed sick days , you will be forced to take it as annual leave , it’s not negotiable, Iits not your choice even to take an unpaid day of sick leave , I tried that but the manager raised her voice and belittled me in front of other staff. Oh and do not I repeat Do Not tell anyone about any medical problems , if you do expect to be forced into a Jardine group referall scheme where they ask you to fill out a form to enable a third party of doctor to get medical history from your doctors to discus the medical situation and for that information to be passed to your line manager
