I would do in-depth research on the bank its history, its strategy, its Board and senior management, any awards it has received, what it is known for in the market. for the specific role find out about the team that is currently there , what my role will be and how I plan to execute my role within the organisation and department.

Research on what advise I would give or what i would do differently that would make a difference in the organisation at a departmental level and strategic level.
