All jobs (Former Employee) – Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire – 23 April 2018
Management don't know what they are doing. Rotas are poorly planned. Lots of threats of punishment. Going above and beyond doesn't get recognition. Weekly hours a sporadic so you can't budget for finance properly. Expected to do jobs that are for higher up personnel. Cliques in all areas. Everyone talks about everyone behind there back, literally everyone. No giving all taking. You go out your way to make the places run better including coming in on days off ect and managers still won't give you leeway when it comes to asking for certain days off. All about who you know and how well you kiss their boots instead of what you know. Constantly changing shifts with out asking staff. Pub basically ran on fear and threats.
Bar Associate (Former Employee) – Stevenage, Hertfordshire – 21 April 2018
Management was rude and tried to make me stay longer than my rotad shift, when i told them i could not stay any longer i was barred, told to leave and not to come back even though i had worked my rotad shift and i couldnt stay any longer, members of staff would pick on others who were not part of their “group” and some days i worked a 10 Hour shift with barely any break! DO NOT APPLY for the standing order in stevenage this place is good for money however it is not worth the stress
