I enjoy working at IHG however my work/life balance has changed and I feel I need to look elsewhere. Although IHG is a very decent company with good benefits, I need to spend more time at home with my Son
Pros

It's definitely the people that make the company. Your team get you through the day and the culture is brilliant. I have never known a company a company give as many paid breaks as this.

Commission isn't great however there are incentives that take place throughout the year which help to compensate it.

If working in Central Reservations, you can choose your shifts for 5 out 8 weeks. As long as you work your contracted hours it can be allocated to whatever suits you which is so helpful
Pros
Great Teams, Paid Breaks, Great Discounts, Career Development, Choose your own shifts!!
Cons
Can start at 7, open 365 days a year.

Good working environment with very friendly staff. A typical day at work consists of speaking to 30+ guests and travel agents in regards to booking in the central London area in which i do my best in helping with. As IHG is the biggest hospitality company worldwide, there are constant changes in which i have to make sure i am adapting to.
The most rewarding part of the job is knowing i have provided the best possible service to callers, this is very rewarding for myself personally.
Pros
Good company benefits
Cons
Shift allocations aren't great
