""If it's too high I'm going to assume so, I think as long as you tell someone it's low on money you should be fine""

Why do people think it's OK to 'assume' an answer without actually knowing one! The fact that this person thinks that you 'tell someone' is ridiculous, and they've obviously never worked a till in their life. The till is cashed up by management who can print off a reconciliation report so they know exactly what the balance of the till should be. They will then know if a till is short or over, and will take appropriate action if necessary - that's not an 'assumption', that's fact, as I have been on a till, and also on management.

Yes it is a shift called first aisle you face up the first aisle of the shop along with having a walkie talkie to hear about shop lifters and troublemakers near the shop. You stay on the aisle to warn management of dodgy people and to make sure shoplifters don’t lesve through the entrance door

Me and my cousin were both employed on the same day and often had shifts together before she left, they just said to us as long as it wouldn't raise any issues then it wasn't a problem.
