Friendly place to work
Back of house - Kitchen Assistant (Current Employee) –  Rowlands Castle, Hampshire23 December 2018
Really great company to work for. Management and co-workers are very friendly and always willing to help. Full training was provided and everyone was very patient. Jobs could sometimes get very repetitive but management were willing to change it up if you ever complained.
Pros
Friendly management, discounts when eating out at any of their pubs.
Cons
No free lunches

Busy Workplace
Waitress (Former Employee) –  Chorley, Lancashire23 December 2018
When I worked here the manager wasn't very pleasant. It was a good job as it was busy and was good at flexible hours to work around college. The hardest part of the job was being busy and understaffed.

Long hours, basic pay and no advancement in career
Chef (Current Employee) –  Derby, Derbyshire2 December 2018
Normal shifts are about 12 hours in length, starting at 8 am and finishing at 11 pm, with a one hour break. when working in the kitchen, you expect pot washers and chefs to have a difference in pay as a chef will have more pressure and more work to do. But not here, you will get paid minimum wage and get laughed at if you ask for a raise.
Pros
There are no pros for this job!
Cons
Long hours, minimum wage, no social life.

Good first job
Waitress (Former Employee) –  Milton Keynes15 November 2018
A typical day of work can get busy but you get to meet different types of people and gain more experience and skills. The management is good, however, sometimes different situations could be handled better. The hardest part of the job is making sure you are keeping up with orders when it is busy. And the best thing about the job is you get to know different people and gain experience at the same time.
Pros
Gain good work experience
Cons
Gets busy

Every place has their good and bad days
Waitress/ Bar Staff (Current Employee) –  Leeds, West Yorkshire23 October 2018
The balance between work and social life isn't great, rota's are done in advanced but are 90% likely to change meaning your plans don't always go as expected.

There are lots of good days, that make you feel like you are making a difference but then there are those days that make you question whether or not you need the job.

For some people it's a great job, it always helps when you have a good team of people around you, but tensions can run high like any job.
Pros
33% staff discount in M&B Brands, Tips are good.
Cons
Not a great balance between work and social life.

The pay was the best i was on at the time but it was very hard work, the managers weren't overly helpful and everyone kept to themselves but it was worth the extra money compared to my previous jobs at the time

This football club is one that is efficiently run and has amazing coaches to help each and every player develop and get better with each session. The teams are organised into ability level which is good as it enables the gifted players to motivate each other and allows the coaches more time to focus on the less gifted players.
