Good, good company to work for. Good pay, would not go back as the high volume of work I was undergoing I was going 80hour weeks with no help or no pay rise

I definitely wouldn’t recommend working there as they are very fair for people starting out have you doing more work than you are contracted to( unpaid)

decent employer, good employees to work with and a very good focus on training and development. The main focus is on what the running costs and safety within the business. mainly long hours working as a chef.

You get 33% off all Mitchel and butler brands. You get paid a pretty decent wage could be more, but you can cover a shift or two to top up your pay pack.

If you like lots money in summer great. Winter you will go from 48 down to 15 hours. Managers do not look after staff all about money. Too much course work

Its decent if you're in uni/college/ working parent shifts are flexible but I was doing the job of an assistant manager and getting paid as a team leader, with only increase being a salaried job that's not worth it.

Working here is hectic to say the least. You aren't just waiting, you're a waiter, doorman, cleaner etc. The hours are, in my case absolutely random. Hours could be 20 a week to 8 in one month, with absolutely random cuts and horrible communication about hours. The pay is low.

Nice customers, friendly staff if you avoid the drama. Rota was often unfair with hours e.g. sometimes only having a days notice of the coming week rota, finishing late and starting early next day. Tips could be very good.
Pros
free salad
Cons
unsociable hours

Decent place to be, although they make you work over 10 hours shifts in rows of days, if I do 8 hour shifts I don’t get a break, it also happens to work out so if you’re working from 12noon to close, you’re break will probably be around 3/4pm, instead of half way through. This is because they are understaffed, and as it gets busy in the evenings, you won’t get the chance to have a break. Gets extremely busy, to the point of it begging ridiculous. heavily understaffed and the staff are expected to take on the work that we need the extra staff for. To be fair, it seems the only good thing about working here is the team and the discounts. Honestly they overwork you, for long hours, and you really don’t have reliable rotas.
Pros
Discounted food, team are great, tips (if you don’t work at the bar).
Cons
Ridiculous shift hours for the work load, understaffed, overworked, illegal breaks? Pretty sure you should get a break every 6 hours.

Starting my job I didn't get any breaks so I was on my feet for hours, Up to now I am still having issues with my first pay check which I should have gotten weeks ago but I have only gotten half of it. The managers do not care about your personal life or you, they just expect you to work work work.
Cons
Very low pay and no breaks
