Give me labouring work on different jobs, some better than others but i have been paid ok on them. Helped me out when i needed some work and kept me busy for a fair while. One of the better ones i've worked with.
Harpers recruitment have managed to keep a system in place which was absolutely fantastic for recruitment methods. This procedure in place would ensure customers were always up to date with candidates who would be joining them on a regular basis and also was well managed for keeping the candidates in the know with what jobs and what locations they were going to be attending.
The team at Harpers knew for the most part how to create an atmosphere which was enjoyable to work in. The construction industry can be stressful so there was always days where stress was at a high as you can expect, but most days seemed to be entertaining and enjoyable for a working environment.
Company events were also very well done, including the yearly Christmas party and also a Summer ball, which was in aspects very similar to having a 2nd Christmas party in the middle of year which was good fun.
Team members in the company, Location of work in Banwell was a nice area to be in
Did not experience any progression within my role (my reasons for leaving)
tying steel all day is not for light hearted, lifting heavy bars holding them while tying them is difficult, you get use to it, always learning new designs, constantly adapting to new changes on designs.
