That's HCC's biggest problem is not using successful temps.I have successfully completed a number of office based assignments in Winchester and would be happy to be permanent. But instead of employing tried and tested people they start from scratch again expecting candidates to completer a separate application for each vacancy rather than draw from a pool of proven people. Most potential candidates put off by the onerous form filling for each vacancy. The private sector always maintains a pool of good prospects so that even candidates not selected initially can be contacted as more vacancies arise. The council are too full of PC ideaology and not delivering a cost effective service for Council Tax payers.

HCC requires pre employment background checks, the speed of these depends on those who are providing the information. References are taken up prior to employment.

Great location, easy job, management absent, which gives employees freedom (can be bad for some), great work life balance
