Their job application process involves terms and conditions that you have to agree to in order to get through it. They involve telling you how your data might be SOLD to other companies. Very inhuman. Very insensitive. And that’s only the half of it. Ts an Cs like a police state, and they might not even let you through to interview. Awful.

Depends on your role. As a relationship manager you can find yourself working a lot of overtime without any acknowledgement. Other roles are quite flexible from what I hear.

It's a basic Background/ Credit Check.
They check your previous employer by contacting them to confirm your tenure . No they do not have the power to look at your NI Cont etc thats a breach of confidentiality.
