It depends on your role. My 4 years at HSBC have generally been 35-40hour weeks. Obviously during busy periods I may work 9 10 hours a day but no ones ever questioned my 5 6 hour days either.

Very bureaucratic. organisation is split into lots of different ownership functions making change very difficult to agree, coordinate and deliver. Spend more time in stakeholder meetings than delivering. anything involving IT will be expensive, long and very very frustrating.
