enjoy my job, progressed really quickly, hours and job suit me, work alot of hours but dont mind, friendly work colleagues. if you want responsibility in the work place then this job is a good place to start.
Very fast paced environment with lots of quality people that are leaving due to poor management and off shoring and ultimately a venture capital approach to the business. Exceptional work life balance but can be demanding when the pressure is on.
Great place to work so laid back and probably one of the best places I have work yes you have targets to meet like any other retail shop but as you have a good laugh at work they are easy to achieve instead of someone breathing down ur neck every 2 mins I would defo recommend Ladbrokes coral as a place to work
> Can't take breaks due to lack of staff
> Could be asked to work in other shops miles away in short notice
> Time off and weekends off is pretty much non existent
> Managers struggle to staff shops
> Staff are constantly of sick with stress
> Abusive customers with barely any security
> Working hours are horrible no work life balance
Very nice place to work depending on you as an individual. Very chilled job that pay good considering the pay especially if you are young. Just need to be careful due to customers that come into store.
All management care is targets and the company culture is not staff orientated. You're just hours of work for them. The quality of your performance in terms of customer service is irrelevant to them, as long as you can cover shifts and do more hours while fulfilling targets that are not a real measurement of your performance as an employee.
This company does not care about its staff. You are just a number to them, all they care about is reaching the STUPID KIPs and hitting targets. When you hit the targets the shop manager gets the bonus as CSM we dont get anything. This job has no benefits or anything. You get a poxy
£20 for signing a customer to a grid card. A lot of fraud is committed in certain areas by managers you are forced to over look this. Customers are rude. The company expects you to be a shop manager, cleaner and security all at the same time for a poxy £8.75 per hour honestly not worth it. Its psychologically and physically draining they dont care about your well being despite mentioning that the company cared about their staff during the induction. ALLL LIESSSSSS. Managers dont care if you have things planned they will change your rota less than 24hours without mentiioning it and expect you to just know. JUST STAY AWAY
The company strategy is to grow and optimise. this means your job is always at risk of redundancy. Company always manages cost and that is their prioirity, not its people. The aim is to increase share price so a few can be rich and workers just do their jobs until the company decides no longer are needed.
no support no appreciation no leadership no backing no investment in staff.overworked doing 2 peoples work .backstabbing staff due to pressure of work .no loyalty to staff.staff don.t give a fig no work ethic.young staff set on for cheapness who turn up when they feel like it
Lazy management, was supposed to have 8 weeks training and did a total of 1 day training then left to fend for self whilst the manager sat behind me on her phone , stay away from droitwich and bromsgrove branch !!
Skivvy (Former Employee) - Nottinghamshire - 13 March 2020
Management allowing staff to take drugs on lunch breaks, being called in to work (15 miles away) for 1hrs work, having part time hours (16hrs) spread out over 7 days !!. Turning up to work at start time and no key holders are there to open up etc.
Never knowing what hours you are working because the manager cannot be bothered to update the online system correctly.
ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER WORKED !!! (i am 40+yrs)
It was a fun place to be in the beginning however staff retention is abysmal and most colleagues are only interested in making their jobs easier by not working as part of a team and leaving critical work to be done by someone else
