NO! Would rather be homeless I can not stress enough what a horrible place this is to work. Best thing I did was leave the shop I worked in was robbed at knife point after I left and yep the staff member was working alone awful place.
Case my family come first over any job the problem being with working in a small group when people are off and some one else need to go off too. Yes it is a bug company but you work in small groups.
A sign on your back saying please don't give me the job as the company sucks and the person interviewing me is more than likely only just turned 18 and hasnt got a scoobie, ladbrokes are desperate for staff, wear what you want just tell them you want to work 60 hours a week and every weekend and don't mind doing it on your own youl be managing by the end of the week
Short phone interview for general chat on your previous employment and to discuss your relevant skills. A wee bit about the company and role.
Face to face interview with a maths test if successful, maths test relatively simple, 'if a customer places 3 bets each at a cost of £x amount how much change would you give if they handed you £x amount. Also 6 or 8 multiplication questions (9x13, 8x7) etc etc. About 20 altogether. I got 15 mins to complete.
Once complete a face to face interview with a manager, basic situation questions "name a time when you've" "what would you do if"
I was unsuccesful I guess as time has passed but best of luck all who are reading.
I think ladbrokes needs to change the management or just let another company takeover and restructure itself.
Not very organised, would go as far to say that there seems to be none. I don't recommend this job to people that have a young family.
