During a week-long work experience placement at The Guardian, there were many roles that I performed but the most enjoyable was writing a piece from Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte’s press conference on my final day. This article was published for the online evening edition and was a very proud moment for me. During the rest of my time at The Guardian, I helped with the coverage of the Paralympics and the U.S. Open, and observed many journalists as I looked to gain a greater understanding of what it means to be a modern-day journalist.
