politiskt spel med lögner
Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Former Employee) –  Greater London21 February 2019
Pros
Kylskåp med gratis dricka, wienerbröd
Cons

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR / HEAD OF DELEGATE SALES (Former Employee) –  London7 August 2018
During my time at GSMA I learnt to multi task selling across a range of products including sponsorship, exhibition space, digital media and leading the delegate sales team. Typical work day was 9-12 hours with a culture to always be "on-line".
Pros
Great event - Mobile World Congress was one of the best events I had the pleasure to work on.
Cons
Work / Life balance not great and decision making from the senior management team could be very slow

Finance team manager (Former Employee) –  London, Greater London29 June 2018
Worked as a member of the finance team. Had a very poor experience where I was undermined as a manager at every opportunity. They need to either respect a manager to do their job & treat them with the benefit of their experience. Over worked team with some people who just shouldn’t be there.
Very surprised at the turnover of staff, most of whom left without securing another role first. Paints a picture which was very true.
Pros
Free breakfast, working from home

Long hours

They are professional and very diverse as there are workers from all over the world. They have a great set of teams and as just a work experience I had a very work like environment and it taught me a lot that I then used in a whole range of business settings.

Marketing Manager (Current Employee) –  London23 February 2018
with 15 years digital marketing experience, my role was admin monkey. No one listens as they're too territorial about their job and wants to be involved in everything even if they dont have any expertise in the field.
Lack of communication, vision and recognition makes the place seem like you're going backwards rather than forward.
They do pay you well but that's about it.
Pros
Salary, breakfast monday and friday
Cons
career going backwards

Manager (Former Employee) –  City of London, Greater London19 February 2018
A large organisation. Not always the best organised but has the feel of a very modern and progressive tech company. There is a lot of politics amongst the management - almost everyone is a manager!
Pros
table tennis, office, working from home options
Cons
long hours, HR needs an overhaul

A mix of really talented people work for GSMA helping mobile operators across the world from Telefonica to Siemens. It's a place where work gets done and the management are there to help you be as efficient as possible. Leadership is clear and the people are fantastic. Expect to work hard and long.

A good organisation that could be much improved upon with stronger leadership. Too few carry too many.

Event Manager and Product Launch Coordinator (Former Employee) –  London, Greater London19 January 2017
Looked after the diary of the executives to secure their meeting with potential customers and marketplace sellers/buyers.

Organised all logistics and room dressing and AV equipment.

Managing the team of 6 onsite was challenging because things kept changing and to reschedule hundreds of meetings and add new one to the calendar of the day as well as the following weeks was very demanding but also very exciting
