I did like my time at Greggs, however the mundane tasks got very boring. I was studying at the time and with the early mornings and nagging to remember every ingredient straight away wasn't for me. I felt like I was thrown into the deep-end without much guidance. I felt like the staff were a bit rude even though I was new and almost condescending. The staff were a bit rowdy (not a morning person) and had many times where one had to leave early. Just not for me. I'm quitting after tomorrow's shift as I'd much rather focus on uni work and my future.
Nevertheless, I learnt a lot, definitely great if you don't have deadlines every other week and really need the extra time on weekends to catch up. Good for first years, teens, or people wanting to progress further. A
